"My Name is Caitlin Smith, and I have known Alisa for just over a year and a half. It has been a blessing getting to know her, and it is a pleasure to call her my friend. To describe Alisa Simmons, I would say that she is adaptable, hard working, generous, kind, and friendly.
To begin with, Alisa is adaptable. I met her just after she got married and moved to a new country. I have seen her as she has transitioned into a new community, environment, and culture. She has excelled at this transition and I often find myself getting helpful life-living tips from her. In addition, I have seen her work hard as she has not only become accustomed to life in Texas, but also as she has studied for her real estate test, which she did all in a language that was not her native language. I was very impressed by this. She definitely does not back down to a challenge, but steps up and shines. Another of her great qualities is that she is very generous. Whenever we meet, she is always giving of what she has, whether that is a cup of coffee, tasty sweets, a hug, a gift, or an ear to listen. She was even willing to help me when I was sick. With that being said, she is kind and cares about people. I appreciate how she cares about me and always asks how my family and myself are doing. She is a good listener too, as she remembers the little details I tell her about myself. For example: She heard me tell her one time that I like owls; so then for Christmas, she got me some kitchen supplies that were owl-themed. Lastly, she is friendly. Alisa is not afraid to talk to strangers and make new friends. Alisa would frequently come to our community events and was not shy to greet other neighbors who came to the events. She has a bubbly, positive attitude that can easily boost your spirits after talking to her.
In conclusion, Alisa Simmons is a lovely person and friend. She so clearly can adapt to different situations/atmospheres, works hard, is generous, kind, and friendly. I am so blessed to know her and call her a friend. "
