"My partner and I decided to buy our first home in 2015. We met Marc at an open house in November 2014. We let him know we wouldn't start looking until April of the following year. He did not bombard us with sales and marketing junk emails after we met. Instead he respected our time frame and reached out every once in a while to see how we were.
When we were ready, he got the ball rolling. Right off the bat he was very clear in letting us know that he wouldn't try to force a home on us. That he wanted it to be a home we felt comfortable purchasing. He asked for our list of wants/needs for our first home and our budget. He also inquired as to what neighborhoods we had looked at and liked. He didn't try to sell us houses that were way over budget and not what we wanted. He actually got the exact neighborhood I wanted and a house I fell in love with.
He let both of us know "You can contact me via email, phone, text, at any time. Even if you think it is too late." We did, although tried not to too late, and he always responded. And he was always personable. We were set to see a house on Saturday, just one, but last minute wanted to see two more. He made it happen.
I never felt confused or uncertain about any part of the home buying process. From beginning to end, Marc made sure to inform us, in detail, of what would happen. And if we had any questions, he was there. It was like working with a good friend who wanted to make sure we were really taken care of.
During the contract process he helped negotiate the price/closing cost and get the price we wanted. Again, making sure we understood all aspects of the contract. Really it all seemed too good to be true. Friends and coworkers were telling me how stressful and exhaustive the process is but we didn't have any of that. Our home buying experience was great, all due to Marc! In fact, he even recommended a fantastic mortgage company and an inspection company. We didn't have any problems, and now we are in our forever dream home.
