2013 marked some good improvement
in the Housing Market in Anna, Texas according to the numbers recently posted
by The Collin County Association of Realtors. The percent of improvement in most categories
was well into the double digits. That is except for the Days on Market until
Sale that decreased 34.6% - and that’s a category you want to see decrease. Here are the actual numbers comparing housing
sales in 2013 to housing sales in 2012 in Anna, Texas:

All those numbers moving in the
right direction is great news for Sellers in Anna. Additionally, for December 2013 the Months
supply of housing inventory for sale in Anna was 2.1 months, compared to 3.4
months in December of 2012. While that usually means more competition
among buyers, the interest rates remain reasonably low which is always good news
for buyers. Add to that Anna’s USDA loan
eligibility that can mean 0% down payment for those who qualify and it appears 2014
may have wonderful things in store for the Anna housing market. Regardless of
which side of the table you sit on.
