Going to an NBA or NHL game in any city is always a good time, assuming you enjoy watching basketball or hockey. Arenas these days are all about the "fan experience". From the moment you enter the arena, you are hit with sensory overload. From the smell of the food to the non-stop action on the jumbotron, you are bombarded with entertainment.
The American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX just may be one of the premier sporting venues in all of the US. I recently attended a Dallas Mavericks game and took special note of all the new features at the AAC.
As far as food goes, you can still get the nostalgic hot dog or nachos in the concourse. But they've also recently added known staples in the fast food industry, specifically Pizza Patron and Taco Bueno. "Bueno", as the locals call it, seems like a great fit as Maverick fans are given a Taco Bueno Coupon anytime the Mavs hit 100 points. There are five other "traditional" restaurants in the arena for those who would like something a little more tasty.
Depending on your ticket level, you may also have access to the Service King Lounge with meat carving stations, freshly prepared salads and adult beverages included. You're right; this is a great ticket to have.
In addition to the great on-court/on-ice action, the folks behind the production of entertainment during TV time-outs and halftime do a fantastic job. From human dot races to professional BMX stunts, there is always something going on to grab your attention.
I'd encourage anyone new to the Dallas area to try to catch a Mavs or Stars game before the 2014 seasons come to an end. It's a great way to get the family out, a perfect first date and there is no better guys/girls night out venue.
"Shannon & Howard were extremely patient as we searched for a new home. They listened and guided us through the process. we ended up with a home 600 sqft bigger than we thought we could afford. This was supposed to be a 5-10 year home, but because of their excellent help, we are in our dream home at our dream price "
