According to the Collin County
Association of Realtors (CCAR), many of the housing statistics for Anna, Texas
are moving in the right direction.
Consider these numbers CCAR posted for May 2013:

news in those numbers is that the days on market before sale is down 44% over
last May and down 18% year to date. The
number of sales closed in Anna was also up 30% over last May and 25% year to
date. Also, the number of homes for sale
in Anna in May dropped to 69 from 122 for May 2012 which is a 43% decrease in
inventory meaning the completion is less for sellers. For buyers the news is good as well. While the number of homes
available decreased, the average sales price decreased almost 11% but the
median sales price increased nearly 20% over May of 2012. This isn't surprising with the number of new
homes being built in Anna by several different builders. All in all this is good news for
the city and for homeowners. Great
things are happening in Anna with the opening of the Splash Pad in Slayter
Creek Park, McDonald’s recently breaking ground in addition to some great new
and existing homes available for sale. No wonder the city slogan is (Y)Our Home Town.
