In collaboration with the Frisco Independent School District, Frisco Square presents Arts in the Square with proceeds going to the Frisco Education Foundation and Frisco Family Services. Arts in the Square 2014 takes place March 29 and 30, and will feature over 120 of some of the best local and regional artists selling their handmade creations. Artists compete in the following categories: Fine Arts/Graphics, Pottery, Textiles, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Photography, Wood, and Miscellaneous. Feast your eyes on incredible art, sit and relax by Simpson Plaza, listen to local musicians, watch ongoing performing arts, enjoy interactive art activities, and treat yourself to the food and spirits available at the variety of award-winning restaurants on site. The Frisco Public Library, Cinemark Theater, the Frisco Heritage Village and Museum, and the Sci-Tech Discovery Center surround Frisco Square and are all attributes that further set it apart as a unique and active community.
