If you enjoy putting up a real tree for the Holidays, there are several popular Christmas tree farms in Dallas – Forth Worth and surrounding areas. Many have fun activities for the kids to enjoy. For specific costs and other information, visit the farms’ websites and a little piece of advice, it is always a good idea to call ahead if you are looking for a specific kind of tree to purchase, some farms do sell out early on in the season.
Yesterland Farm (Canton)
Open starting November 28th, Weekdays 1:00pm til dark and Weekends 9:00am-dark for tree purchases only. Fun Santa activities run on opening day (Nov 28) and subsequent weekends 11:00am-5:00pm through December 14th.
Christmas-themed park, Christmas wreaths, garlands, mistletoe, Santa appearances, Christmas decorations, trees bagged, trees tied, tree shaking provided, trees baled, saws provided, winter hay rides, winter wagon rides, winter train rides, gift shop, snacks and refreshment stand, picnic area, face painting, bouncy castle or moon bounce, pony rides, farm animals.
Mainstay Farm (Cleburne)
Starting Thanksgiving weekend open (Friday Nov 27 10am-5pm) and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am -5:oo pm Dec. 5th & Dec. 6th
Hay Rides around the farm, 3-story tree house, Jumping Pillow, Hay Play and Jump Barn, Pedal Kart Race Track, Wooden Maze, Color Maze, The 100-foot-long Super Chute Slide.
Haynie Green Acres (Crowley)
Starting Friday November 27th (open 9am-5:30pm) Open Saturdays & Sundays 9:00am-5:30pm and Monday-Friday 2:00-5:30pm
Hay rides, gift shop, picnic area, petting zoo or animals, refreshments, flocking available, playground area.
Elves Farm (Denison)
Starting Friday November 27th 10:00am-5:00pm. Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm; Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm; Monday – Friday 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Christmas wreaths and boughs, Christmas decorations, saws provided, trees bagged, trees tied, winter hay rides, flocked trees, hayrides, picnic area, gift/crafts, snack food and drinks, farm zoo, country atmosphere, wooden maze.
Flower Mound Christmas Trees (Flower Mound)
November 27 thru Christmas. Monday-Friday from 1:00 – 8:00pm; Saturday & Sunday 9:00am – 8:00pm
Christmas in the Country provides lots of free activities for the kids including hayrides in the big red sleigh, mazes built from hay bales, two jump houses, a jumpy slide and our special kid-sized choo choo train. All activities are free of charge. You may bring lunches, picnic tables have been provided for your convenience. Hot chocolate and cider are free on the weekends.
Kadee Farm Christmas Tree Plantation (Greenville)
Starting November 27th. Monday-Friday: 1:00pm to 6:00pm; Saturday-Sunday 10:00am -6:00pm; through December 23rd or until sold out

Radde Tannenbaum Farm (Meridian)
Starting November 27th. Monday-Friday: 3pm – dark; Saturday 9am-dark; Sunday 1pm-dark.

Lone Star Pines (Terrell)
Open Friday November 27th 9:00am – dark. Saturday & Sunday until December 21st; 9:00am until dark.

McNew Star M Christmas Trees (Quinlan)
Open Friday November 27th 9:00am-dark, Fridays 3:00pm-dark, Saturdays & Sundays 10:00am-dark (until sold out for the season)
