Looking for places to go out for Cinco De Mayo in Dallas? Well here is a list of things to do during the biggest Mexican Holiday!
When kicking off your Cinco De Mayo day of celebration you need to be ready to start the festivities early in the day. The first stop opens at 10 am a the Blue Goose Cantina. There you can enjoy $2 Dos XX and Tecate beer as well as part take in a mustache contest that is full of prizes. An hour later Digg’s taco shop begins their Cinco De Mayo celebration with $1 off margaritas and $2 tacos. From 4-7 pm they will also be featuring live music with a mix of acoustic hits. If you are with your family and having kids, at 12 pm you should check out the Cinco De Mayo Family Camp. There they will have things such as activities, games, and performances. This event is a “come and go” style, so you can show up anytime between 12 and 4 pm. If you don’t have kids and want to enjoy the adult style of Cinco De Mayo, from 1-6 pm the West End Pub will be hosting an event called Cinco De Mayo on the Patio. They will have live music from Jes Spire and will be pouring an assortment of Cinco De Mayo beverages. If you are partying with a large group of people, 18 or more, you should check out the Cinco De Mayo Loco Celebracion Tour. This tour will take you in a private bus around Dallas from 2-5:45 pm and will stop at the best margarita and mexican food places in town. The price of $60 includes your bus fees and food and drinks as well. Looking to stay at one location instead of being nomadic, beginning at 4 pm Mattito’s Mexican Cafe begins their celebration. They will have mariachis, DJ live music, tequila tastings, food, games, prizes, and drink specials. Mattito’s in Uptown Dallas is said to have the best Cinco De Mayo celebration in town. If your Cinco De Mayo celebration fix still hasn’t been satisfied yet, go to Zouk Night Club. Doors open at 9 pm and on Cinco De Mayo the hip/hop performer T.I. will be performing at the club tonight. This is a 21 and over event and tickets range from $30-75.
