The Coppell Women's Club recently recognized by the Mayor for committment and leadership in the community. The Women's Club was founded in 1973 to promote friendship and a strong community among the women in Coppell who share the same goals to preserve the small town atmosphere through various social, cultural, charitable, and educational activities. The CWC is an unincorporated non-profit organization open to all Coppell female residents and surrounding areas. The ladies meet once a month for a general meeting and also have social events and luncheons throughout the year!
Recently Mayor Doug Stover declared May 2nd as Jan Wagner-Adkinson Appreciation Day for Coppell. In honor of her hard work and devotion she has given to the Coppell Women's Club for many years. Jan has served on the board for many years and is currently CWC President. A huge "Thank You" to Jan and her board of directors for making the 2011-2012 Women's Club a huge success and a lot of fun!
