The new headquarters complex Dallas Cowboys in Frisco is becoming larger — and more extravagant
The Cowboys and Dallas-based Omni Hotels & Resorts being built on a 91-acre tract at the northwest corner of Warren parkway and the Dallas North Tollway, informed Thursday that they are collaborating to expand a new hotel at the group’s future home.
The Omni would be the only full-service upscale hotels in the neighborhood, being anchored by the Cowboys World Headquarters will serve as a cornerstone of the mixed-use development and a 12,000-seat stadium that will be shared with the Frisco high schools.
The Omni Frisco Hotel will present 300 nicely selected visitor rooms. Conference space and a ballroom, and a lot of food and beverage experiences, involving a rooftop pool deck.
Mike Deitemeyer, president of Omni Hotels & Resorts. proclaimed that‘’ This pledges to be a powerhouse development that will encourage millions of people every year to the brilliant Frisco community,” The company controls convention center hotels in Fort Worth and Dallas, as well as the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas and the Omni Dallas Hotel at Park West.
The mixed-use development would also have corporate offices, retailers and restaurants.In the fall of 2016, the cowboys plan to transfer their new headquarters from Valley Ranch in Irving. It has two outdoor practice fields kept exclusively for the Cowboys and may organize training camp.
In the spring of 2015, the Omni Frisco Hotel is awaited to break ground with an opening set for early 2017.
