We are coming up on the last couple weeks of the amazing
Scarborough Renaissance Festival which started on April 6th and runs
until May 27th. If you enjoy having fun this is a great place to
be!!! No doubt you can find something to entertain you while you are hanging
out with all the crazy characters within the festival! Do you want to have a
drink, than head to the only indoor tavern Cat & Fiddle Tavern which is
located near the Joust or hit up one of the outdoor pubs such as Kings pub,
Captains Pub or one of the many others set up. Pubs aren’t what you’re looking
for, are you there for some good grub? Then you should head to the Rose and
Crown inn which happens to be the only full service seated dining area with
live music and has daily specials on the menu.
West market kitchen, Village Kitchen, Crowns Kitchen, Queens Kitchen,
and the Royal Kitchen are also there to serve your needs for a delicious plate
of food wither it is fresh fruit, cold cut sandwiches, steak on a stick, ribs,
crawfish, fresh pastas, and of course the good ole GIANT ROASTED TURKEY LEGS
(who goes to a festival and doesn’t munch down on one of these bad boys)!!! If
food and drinks aren’t what your after there is plenty more to choose from the
dungeon of Yorkshire Tower which gives you and insight to the trials,
punishment(torture) and imprisonment during the med-evil era, Yorkshire Tower is a recreation of a mid-evil castle, or the
Mythical monsters Museum with trolls, mermaids along with tons of other creepy
monsters, a petting zoo for all the little ones and for those of us still young
at heart. Now you can also choose from a variety of rides and attractions such
as the pirate ship swing, barrel rides, a pony carousel, star throw and castle
maze and who doesn’t want a chance to ride an ELEPHANT or CAMEL!!! So if you haven’t
made it out to the Renaissance Festival you still have a couple weeks to make a trip
to Waxahachie and make memories you’re sure to never forget!!

"My business partnership purchased a former manufacturing facility in 2007 in order to renovate and convert it into artists' studios for leasing. Janel represented us in the acquisition process and labored tirelessly, overcoming numerous obstacles that arose during the escrow period. She helped us to meet our deadlines and close the deal. She was competent, trustworthy, genial, and I would not hesitate to use her again in future real estate transactions."
