I have contemplated painting our garage floor... who doesn't like the thought of a showroom looking garage?? Here is what my research has found:
Pros: Spills are easy to clean up on the non porous surface (oil, grease, etc) Easy to clean and prevents the build up of dust and stuff in cracks Fairly cheap (average is around $70) Looks GREAT and brightens the garage up
Cons: Prepping can be difficult, costly and dangerous... can take several tries to remove all the grease, oil and solvents from the surface. This must be done so the epoxy will stick. NOT permanent. dropped objects can cause chips which can lead to peeling. Can be slippery when wet or if oil/grease isn't cleaned up completely
Not sure what to do! Any thoughts?? I love the look, but is it worth it??
