It's actually Trader Joe's, but the system wouldn't let me put an apostrophe and I thought Trader Joe in Plano had a ring to it. What is Trader Joe's? Well, it's a hip California grocery store concept that will come to the Plano area in September. It's will be located at 2400 Preston Road. Is it for everyone....probably not. Alot of the foods can actually be....wait for it....good for you! I used to go to Trader Joe's in another life and found it quite fun. I used to take my son and let him pick stuff out and he didn't know it was good for him, which of course I liked. It's hard to explain and a unique concept that has it's nitch with foodies. But you will get it if you go. Prices are quite good because most of it is their own label. The fruits and veggies are organic and the food is mostly organic. You can try food there as well. There is a lot of gluten free stuff and a great selection of cheeses. If you are having a party and want cool food it's a place to go. They always have a great selection of beer. But let's face it...the real reason is 2 Buck Chuck. 2 Buck Chuck is the name of their signature wine. Now, I am not sure what the price will be in Texas because it all depends on the taxes....but I am guessing you could call it 3 Buck Chuck...and it's not bad, I might add. Whichever...do the math on that case of vino and then feel free to have the party at your place!

"Rick Fruge knows how to bring out the best in people. Understands great people make a great organization. Helps people to focus on their strengths and helps them to recognize how to improve their weaknesses. Bottom line he is focused, smart and someone that gets results. If you are looking for someone to negotiate and get the best results, Rick not only has done it but is good at doing it. I worked for Rick as a direct report twice at two different levels over the years, he always cares about his people but will not let the unmotivated drag down an organization. He expects the best because he delivers his best every day."
