Here are a couple helpful home heating hints from Farmers Electric Cooperative:
INSTALL A PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT
Make sure temperatures in the home match the schedules of inhabitants. Turning back your thermostat for eight hours a day can save as much as 10 percent a year on your heating bill.
PERFORM AN AIR LEAK TEST
Leaks in windows and doors are big culprits in a chilly household. Perform this simple test on a windy day if possible:
First, close all windows and doors.
Second, light an incense stick or a match (the long fireplace starter matches work great) and pass it by windows and doors. If the smoke is sucked out or blown into the room, you have found an air leak. Seal any leaks you find with caulk or weatherstripping.

"Anne helped our family buy a house in University Park. We were very fortunate to have a Realtor® who not only knew the market well and found us a great house in our price range with required bedrooms, but she was very efficient and smart during the negotiating phase of making an offer. She is very prompt to return phone calls and emails which is an absolute must when buying or selling. I have bought three houses in my life and I found Anne to be the best realtor we have used. Anne is very bright and she knows the ins and outs of making an offer, going through inspections, financing and closing."
