It is winter/early spring, and you have just closed on your dream house! You are swimming in boxes and there is so much to do to make this house YOUR HOME, but what do new home owners forget at this time of year? Preventative lawn care! Your grass is not growing and you don’t need to mow, but you do need to think of your future lawn and your future weeds. My friendly neighborhood lawn care expert, small business owner, and personal friend, Barbara Cook of Momma’s Mowing, suggests Valentine’s Day, February 14th, as the day to LOVE YOUR LAWN! On February 14th spread your lawn with pre-emergent to prevent those pesky weeds from germinating. Pre-emergent prevents 70% of weeds by killing seeds underground. LESCO Pre-Emergent is good for all grasses and can be purchased at your local Home Depot in the lawn and garden department. As always, read and follow the manufacturer's instructions. **SWEEP OFF YOUR CONCRETE IT WILL STAIN! DO NOT USE IF PLANTING SEEDS!** Applying pre-emergent will not kill weeds that are already growing. It takes care of the seeds. Take Barbara's advise and LOVE YOUR NEW LAWN this Valentine’s Day! Your Valentine will appreciate a pretty, thick, weed free lawn in the spring! (Your fall application date to remember is September 15th.)

"Trenton was a godsend! Before meeting Trenton, I had worked with another agent for nearly two months. She was unresponsive and never recommended any properties. I was doing all the work on my own. Within 4 days of meeting Trenton I had visited several properties and put in an offer on the home I ended up buying. If you are looking for someone that really cares and wants to help you find the perfect home, Trenton is the man! "
