The 4 bedroom 2 full bath property at 2417 Tisinger Ave is going to be open this Saturday, February 11th, from 1-3pm. We hope to see you there. When I say we you know who I mean if you have read a recent blog of mine. The special guest of honor Owner Steve will be there to talk to you about the fantastic remodel. In the dark ages of real estate, owners were kept far away so they wouldn't say or do anything to hurt the sale. I think it's time we open the house to give a potential buyer a little more insight. And that brings me to a chance meeting between good ol' Owner Steve and a buyers agent recently showing the house.
Over the past few days and several showings, I have had the chance to talk with an agent who recently showed the house. I didn't ask her if I could use her name in my blog so that's why I am not. Believe it or not, I don't consider her competition to me. I consider her an important part of the real estate procedure. Sometimes you are the listing agent, which is great, but sometimes you are the buyers agent. That's great as well. When I am a listing agent there is nothing better than having another agent bring a buyer to you.
It was by chance the other day while showing the house she ran into Owner Steve. He answered a few questions and that was that. Kind of...what was cool is that she took the time to call me, ask some real estate questions and then say how awesome it was to meet Owner Steve and what a great job he did remodeling the home. How cool is that? That is cool. It made my day.
Her clients may or may not purchas this Dallas home but I know this. Owner Steve will eventually do another remodel. He is currently looking in the Tisinger neighborhod as well as Garland and The Colony. And you can bet I will give her a call and a heads up. She knows her clients will want quality no matter what their price range and you will get it with Spark Homes, LLC. In fact, I might send her flowers if she brings the buyer! Has that every been done between a listing agent and a buyer's agent? I think I have just decided it starts with me.
