A Plano-based community builder has announced plans for a $170 million, 350-home community in Frisco.
Green Brick Partners Inc. said Monday that it has purchased almost 100 acres for the project along Eldorado Parkway between the Dallas North Tollway and Preston Road.
The development called Frisco Springs will include both townhomes and single-family homes. CB JENI Homes – a subsidiary of Green Brick – will build in the project.
The single-family home sites will be up to a quarter acre in size.
”The first phase of residential development will commence in early summer of 2016, with model homes opening in spring of 2017,” Jed Dolson, Green Brick’s Head of Acquisitions said in a statement. “Frisco Springs will be one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Frisco and only minutes from the $5 billion mile.”
The homes in Frisco Springs will be built around 20 acres of open space and trails. There will also be a community center with a pool, work out room and entertaining areas.
Green Brick has almost 4,800 home sites in North Texas and the Atlanta area.

"Shannon & Howard were extremely patient as we searched for a new home. They listened and guided us through the process. we ended up with a home 600 sqft bigger than we thought we could afford. This was supposed to be a 5-10 year home, but because of their excellent help, we are in our dream home at our dream price "
