Who will be the next Frisco? According to the Dallas News, Prosper will be! The population of Prosper has quadrupled since 2000.
Prosper was a small rural town on Preston Road (SH 289) in North Texas about 6 mi (9.7 km) north of Frisco, but in recent years – true to its name – it has prospered. Prosper has maintained a spacious country feel while developing into an upscale suburb, with rolling terrain, many trees and large single-family-home lots. Prosper is growing rapidly in terms of new home building (single family houses in the $250,000 to $3,000,000 + range). In addition to a long-time retail filling station, in 2004 Prosper saw its second and third retail establishments arrive: a Sonic restaurant, and an Exxon On the Run station. Since 2004, Prosper has added a Palios, CVS, Ernestos, Subway and many other establishments. The Gates of Prosper is a luxury $500 million dollar Retail Development set to start construction in 2014.

"Carol Holmes is an amazing Realtor. She far exceeded our expectations of the home buying process. This was our first home purchase together since we've been married and she made the process enjoyable and smooth unlike other realtors we've used in the past. She gave us A+ service and connected us with the best lender. She never left us hanging and made herself readily available for all of our needs including renting our old home. She has the best connections so call her! She is a joy to work with!"
