I heard a commercial the other day that said something along the lines of "Everyone needs to find love" so if you haven't found it go to this dating website and we can help. Let's use Match.com just for the heck of it. But because I have real estate on the brain these days, my first thought was this must be a real estate website like Realtor.com or how about JillElliottHomes.com. Because if you think about it, as you need love, you also need a roof over your head whether you are buying or leasing and you also need to LOVE it. Using the internet to find both is very much exceptable. However, with love there is compromise. With buying or leasing a house, there is compromise. That's why it's as important to get qualified then check out the house before buying.....much like meeting the person in person than just talking on the phone. You qualify the person you are going to meet right? Does he or she have the look I want, the goals I would like them to have or heck, maybe which way they put the toilet paper on makes a difference to you. The reality is the same. Homes that look fantastic on the internet don't always reflect that perfection when you get there. When meeting that person you thought was perfect on paper may not be so much when you really get to know them. The great thing about real estate is that you can change those imperfections. My listing on 2417 Tisinger in Dallas is set to close March 22nd. Yes, the owner made a few changes and the buyer made a few compromises. My listing on 740 Lakeridge in Lavon was recently shown and they thought there should be some upgrades. My response to that was "Make us an offer" because you will never know unless you ASK. Would you want to lose what could be a perfect house over wallpaper vs. paint? Would you want to lose a great person over toilet paper? I hope not.

"Shannon does her homework before she comes for the initial consultation. She is prompt, precise, and knows the area market. We had our house under contract in one day and closed within a month. This was the smoothest process we have ever had!! Shannon is truly fantastic to work with!"
