Saturday night marks the end of another successful Summer Concert Series in Rockwall. As a tradition, the final concert will feature local musicians that make up the Rockwall Philharmonic Orchestra. This year the concert will honor Congressman Ralph Hall. The Orchestra will play Summon the Heroes and The Patriot by John
Williams, especially appropriate in honoring our Congressman who has
given so much in service to Rockwall and the 4th Congressional District
of Texas for some 34 years. He also served in the United States Navy in
World War II. Congressman Hall has truly been a local and national
hero and patriot.
As the Orchestra honors Congressman Hall, they will also pay
musical tribute to John Williams and Cole Porter along with Jean
Sibelius’ Finlandia, along with Video Games Live Suite for the kids, and
finishing off with Stars and Stripes with a Salute to the Armed Forces
complete with a grand fireworks show over our beautiful Lake Ray
Saturday, August 30th, 8pm at the Harbor Music Amphitheater.
