Who needs the French Riviera when you have Lake Ray Hubbard? The peaceful sight of the many sail boats just before sunset on a pleasant spring afternoon is a sight to be enjoyed. As I traveled across Lake Ray Hubbard at Rockwall, I was compelled to exit off I-30 and take a few minutes to enjoy the tranquility that so many pass up every day. Throughout dinner at the Oar House, I kept thinking how fortunate we are to live in such an absolutely stunning location. East Dallas is a wonderful place to live and now that the President George Bush Turnpike goes all the way to I-30, the connection to North Dallas is so much closer.
