Over the summer, I've shown some cool retro-fabulous properties everywhere from Hurst in the mid-cities to Lake Highlands near White Rock Lake in Dallas. Some clients love to see original details like pink tile in the bathrooms or a charming original fireplace. Other clients just plan to completely update the property.
What do YOU think about buying a retro place? Would you gut it and re-do, or try to keep some of the original details intact while bringing the livability of the property up to date?
One thing that I will tell you for sure is that properties move SO quickly in today's DFW market, so I'd highly recommend shopping for homes on a website that is kept refreshed with properties WAY more often than trulia, zillow, etc. Our website is the best. :-) CLICK HERE to begin your Metroplex home search!
