What if choosing a real estate agent was kinda like building a custom home? With custom homes you choose your floors, your walls, your light fixtures and more. How would you feel if real estate agents had the same concept? I hear many trainings and coaches say that, us as real estate agents, we must get clients to like us. We have to position ourselves as knowledgable and competitive. Is that what clients really want?
Think about this, you show up at the car dealership and the sales person tells you, "We will make you a custom car for the same price as a car thats already built." Would you take them up on their offer? Why not? Same price but you get exactly what you want. Kinda like ordering at a restaurant. Here's the challenge, I am conducting a survey. I want to see what do consumers want in an agent. But this is not like your ordinary survey. This survey asks questions more relevant to today. Let's see what people really want in the real estate agent of 2014.
