It goes without saying that a real estate agent should know a little bit about the area they are selling houses in. The nearest Costco, Walmart or Kroger. But I think a realtor should be able to tell you a little extra "somethin' somethin" about the area as to which you may call your neighborhood. And guess what. I am going to put in a shameless plug for my new listing 740 Lakeridge Dr. in Lavon. I asked my client to take me to their favorite place to eat. I didn't want a big fancy restaurant. I didn't want a chain type of place. There was a strange look, like...I don't know if this person is going to like this....I pushed it. I wanted to go to a place that was that craving you think about a couple of days after you eat there. A place you go and think....I am so full I will never go back....but then....there you are in line waiting and it doesn't matter how long you wait because the folks know your name and see you come in the door so you can't sneak out and you don't wait to. So, in we walk to the Mo's Exon Gas Station on the corner that you turn off of Hwy. 78 to get to the property. 10 minuets later I am sinking my teeth into the best burger I have tasted in I don't know how long. The fries are amazing as well. I can not quit thinking about it and can't wait to go back. Better than an In and Out Burger? I would say so. I understand the tamales rock as well but you have to wait 2 weeks after you place an order to get those. I would say....it's going to be well worth the wait. Stop in for a burger or order the tamales. Let me know how the tamales are if you get to them before I do.
